I’m currently in Dubai teaching at Gulf Photo Plus. Today was our photo 101 class where we concentrate on working with available light and simple modifiers to create headshots.
How it was shot :: Nikon D3 with the 105mm f2 lens. Available light with a 60″ silver reflector under the lens to bring light back into Abby’s eyes.

abby was really cool! she was confident and easygoing, inturn making us more confident to take pics!! all of my shots of abby have come out good!
the photo 101 was really good too. learnt a lot. thanks again zack for trading secrets with us!
@diane yes, her eyes had lot of character and was just screaming “keep me sharp” (along with zack’s voice in my head) in the headshots!
