This image is from the first OneLight I taught at GPP this year. I was holding my camera down at ground level shooting blind. Meaning, I wasn’t looking through the viewfinder. You have to get a feel for your camera, focal length, and focus points. If you get the feel for it you can usually hit your target. Keyword, usually. For this image I missed the focus point and blew the shot but sometimes you may find that your mistake can be made into something else. Heck, that’s how most “fine art” is made! :)

Wow!!! This shot is freaking amazing. Seriously, can I buy a print?
Great Image Zack!
I dig the warm cool contrast, the human vs. structure composition and the “missed” focus on the water instead of something else. Why no mention of the “hey, it’s upside down!” factor? Did you shoot it that way or flip it in post? It’s rare to see an upside down shot that works so well.
it feels very 80′s to me… not in a bad way…
