I totally understand and respect your decision. I started mine on Jan the 1st (after seeing totally rocking 365s by Dustin Diaz and LaurenLemon) and lasted only a bit over a 100 days myself.
The pleasure and freedom of photographing “for myself” very quickly turned into a forced “to do” point on a daily agenda, and totally killed creativity…
Respect to all those who completed the project successfully, especially on top of their “day jobs” and family commitments.

Unlike you, if I stuff up my photography, my job isn't affected in the slightest. In some respects it would have been nice to seen your off-days - makes things more attainable perhaps, but I do understand that might not make much business sense. I have a feeling your off-days would have still looked better than my on-days... My wife and kids want to publish a 365 book with all of my photos throughout the year but I couldn't handle having so many mediocre pics in it. The upside is that I do think that I can create a rockin' book with 50-60 pictures in it. Now that's something that I would not have been able to do without the 365 project forcing me to take picture after picture, day after day. I can totally relate.
